I’m Lin, and this is Among candles & tea. A cozy place to read book reviews and more bookish things. Here, I’ll share my crazy reading life, that is mainly romance books… well they’re fun… *insert Charlotte Lucas from P&P: don’t judge me Lizzie, don’t you dare judge me*. Of course, I do read other genres, and obviously, I’ll share it here.
Aside from books, I love movies and series. Huuuuge fan. So it’s very likely that’ll talk a little about that. Maybe some recommendations, book adaptions, and others.
And I love travelling! I love to go to new places, try new food, to get to know another culture and people. So I might share with you some of that, but always related to books, of course.
I might also share with you some short recipes, cooking is not my strength, but I like to eat! haha so we may find some of that.
I’m in my early twenties (23) and studying journalism. I must confess with you I’m not exactly passionate about my field … I’m pretty sure I’m not alone in this, right? …. right? …. well, I do like it and I’m sure something good will come out of it.
One of the things I love is languages, I’m always trying to learn new ones. And because of this, I’m doing this blog in English and Spanish.
As a way for me to learn more and of course to give the opportunity for more people to read here. Especially, the Spanish speaking people. As there aren’t many book blogs in Spanish, I’d like to help with my small contribution.
Also, I love Jesus. He’s part of me so, of course, I’ll share some things about my faith. Like christian books and such.

Yo soy Lin y este es Among candles & tea, un lugar acogedor (cozy) para leer reseñas de libros y muchas cosas relacionadas a ellos. Aquí compartiré mi loca vida literaria, que es principalmente libros románticos … bueno son divertidos … *inserte Charlotte Lucas de P&P: no me juzges Lizzie, no te atrevas a juzgarme* Por supuesto, que leo otros géneros y obviamente los compartiré acá.
A parte de los libros, aaaaamo las películas y las series. Así que es muy probable que hable un poquito de eso también, cosas como recomendaciones, adaptaciones de libros, entre otros.
También ¡amo viajar! Me encanta conocer nuevos lugares, probar comida nueva, conocer nuevas culturas y personas. Por eso, es probable que comparta con ustedes un poco de eso, por supuesto, siempre relacionado con los libros.
Y bueno, puuuuede que comparta con ustedes recetas cortas, la cocina no es mi fuerte, pero me encanta comer! jajaja así que puede que encontremos un poco de eso.
Estoy en la primera fase de los veinte (23) y estudio periodismo. Tengo que confesar que no estoy exactamente apasionada por mi carrera y creo que no soy la única en esto, cierto?…cierto? …. bueno, sí me gusta y estoy segura que algo bueno saldrá de eso.
Una de las cosas que sí amo son los idiomas. Siempre estoy tratando de aprender más y nuevos idiomas, es por eso que estoy haciendo este blog en Inglés y Español.
Es una forma para poder aprender más y , por supuesto, dar la oportunidad para que más gente pueda leer aquí, especialmente hispanohablantes ya que no hay taaantos blogs de libros, y me gustaría ayudar con mi pequeño aporte.
También amo a Jesús, él es parte de mí así que obviamente compartiré cosas respecto a mi fe, como libros cristianos y cosas así.
