Hello beautiful book lovers! Today I’m sharing a review I should’ve shared a looooooong time ago. I know I know!!! I’m the worst but please don’t judge 😭

Somewhere Along the Line by Mallory Thomas

This was a really cute and fun read. Piper and James were super adorable together and I loved reading their dynamic. They were so different but complemented each other so well.
The plot itself was good, and I’m such a fan of the fake relationship trope so I was super excited to read James and Piper’s story. The whole meeting on the train was definitely cute. Because who didn’t have a commuting crush? And despite being a relatively short story I feel we get to know both main characters pretty well. By the way, I loved James’ dad!! He added such a wholesome and warm touch to the story.

I had fun reading it and gave it 3 stars mainly because I didn’t really connect with the characters and I felt like it was more of an insta-love kind of thing. Also, the fake marriage part wasn’t so solid in my opinion but maybe that was just me because I had high expectations for that trope.
Nonetheless, I think a lot of people will enjoy this book and as it’s a quick, fun and easy-to-read book, I do recommend it.
Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
love, Lin
