Hello book lovers! It’s a new day and a new review. Are we in a hockey romance era? I feel like hockey is THE sport romance authors are writing about today, and as I have no idea about hockey I enjoy them thoroughly.

Romancing the Grump by Jenny Proctor
Dear Jenny, you have no business writing such wholesome books! I absolutely loved this one, and I can’t believe this is my first book by Jenny. But, obviously, it won’t be my last.
Summer and Nathan’s story was so fun, cute, and easy to read that I devoured it in a couple of hours. I loved reading Summer, she’s strong, but still willing to be vulnerable. And reading Nathan was the best. I especially loved his emotional growth. And how I wish I could see his smile, too!
The found family trope is one of my favourites ever and I always enjoy reading them no matter the genre. And the friendships here did not disappoint me at all. On the contrary, I can’t wait to read more about these characters. And please, Jeanny, tell me we’ll see Lucy with one of Nathan’s teammates!
The only thing I didn’t like so much was that Nathan’s change was too fast. I would’ve liked for his change to take a bit longer, only to make it more believable. Despite that, I loved this book a lot.
Now, all I want to do is read Jenny’s previous books. I’m already itching to read the next books in this series.
Thanks so much to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Would you read this book?
love, Lin
